— OUR COMPANY —

Four decades of craft in the Pacific Northwest.

Cascade Restoration & Tub Repair has been restoring bathtubs across Western Washington since 1985 — one certified job at a time.

Our story

Cascade Restoration opened in 1985 with a simple mission: do careful, certified bathtub restoration work — the kind that actually lasts. Four decades later, we’re still doing exactly that, now as Cascade Restoration & Tub Repair, with a reputation earned one tub at a time across the Puget Sound region.

Over the years we’ve worked on every kind of bathroom you can imagine: vintage Victorian homes with original cast-iron tubs in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood, new-construction fiberglass damage in Redmond developments, luxury refinishing in Medina estates, and mass turn-overs in apartment complexes from Everett to Federal Way. What hasn’t changed is the standard: every job is done by a certified refinisher, every finish is matched properly, and every customer gets the time their project deserves.

Certifications & credentials

We are fully licensed and bonded in Washington State (License CASCARC959R8) and certified by the manufacturers we work with:

  • Kohler Co. — Authorized refinisher
  • American Bath Group — Authorized Service Representative
  • MAAX (MAAX Inc.) — Authorized refinisher
  • MTI Baths — Certified refinisher

These aren’t decorative badges — they’re working relationships. It means when a bathtub from one of these manufacturers has a warranty claim, we’re often the company called in to handle the repair.

What makes us different

A lot of refinishing companies have come and gone in Western Washington over the past 40 years. We’re still here because of three things:

Experience across materials. Porcelain, cast-iron, fiberglass, acrylic — each requires different products, different surface prep, and different techniques. Most companies specialize in one or two. We handle all four, which matters more than you might think when you don’t know exactly what your bathtub is made of.

Real certification, not just training. Manufacturer certifications require ongoing product training, real technique evaluation, and adherence to warranty standards. We’ve maintained ours continuously.

We live here. Based in Monroe, serving the Puget Sound. We’re not routing from Portland or Spokane. If there’s a problem with a job, we can be back at your house quickly.

Who we serve

Roughly half our business is residential — homeowners who want to preserve or restore a bathtub instead of replacing it. The other half is commercial: general contractors, property managers, apartment complex owners, hotels, and manufacturer warranty work. We bring the same standard of work to both.
